Four Cubic Meters Garbage Collected from Sekretaris River

Four cubic meters of garbage were transported by Jakarta Environment (LH) Agency's Water Body Unit from partitions in Sekretaris River's Bridge, Jalan Raya Mangga, Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta, on Friday (9/17).
We use 1 beko unit to transport the garbage
Jakarta LH Agency's Water Body Unit Head, Yayat Supriyatna conveyed, it was done to keep the river clean thus water can flow well. Garbage on the river was collected by three personnel from Water Body Unit before being transported.
"We use 1 beko unit to transport the garbage. Today, our personnel transport four cubic meters of garbage," he said.
Duri Kepa PPSU Personnel Clean Channel on Jl. Daan MogotHis side collected garbage from partitions in the river three times a week. The transported waste was collected to dumpsite near Pospol Duri Kepa which later transported using large truck to be dumped to Bantar Gebang Landfill (TPA).
"Approaching rainy season, river must be kept clean of garbage thus water can flow well," he mentioned.
